Reflections of Christ

So while we were in Arizona last month we were able to go into the visitor's center at the temple and see this fine art photography exhibit of photos taken of the Easter Pageant actors by Mark Mabry. This one was Jeremy's favorite, but the rest were also amazing. You can view a slideshow of all the pictures here...Reflections of Christ. I love these so much!!! The actor this year definitely seemed to be the most accurate portrayal of Christ (according to my imagination) that I've ever seen.

Abby-Goal

Well finals are starting this weekend...eww. Mine are really starting right now because one is a take home, but I keep doing other things because I'm too overwhelmed to start it. But here is something cool worth looking at...it's an article on Abby and her performance the weekend before last. She rocks! I love her and I'm so excited that we will be back home soon and get to watch her play again.

Firsts...

So it's been well over a week and I'm sorry I haven't posted anything...I dislike looking around at blogs that have been the same for about a week, so I understand your feelings of annoyance (is this even a word?). School is coming to an end forever and I'm starting to stress about finals and finding a job...oh well, it'll all be good. Last week was a week of firsts for me and Jeremy. Never having a cavity before in my life I was scared to go to the dentist last week to get my first three fillings. Luckily for me they were small and I didn't have to get shots because the dentist didn't have to drill very far into my poor teeth. So it wasn't so bad! Plus nobody will really ever know because they aren't silver fillings and just blend in, yessssss!

Figuring it was our last time living here so close to the conference center and because Jeremy's never been to a session before, we decided to go up and try to get in by waiting in the standby line on Sunday for General Conference. As it turns out, it is pretty simple to get extra tickets from people who have come from far distances by asking for extras a couple blocks away from the conference center from people walking towards it. We didn't even have to wait in that long line and got some pretty good seats! Jeremy loved it...and I have to say it never ceases to make my spine tingle when the loud conference center falls silent in about two seconds as all stand when the prophet enters the room. Very cool.

Arizona

So this last weekend we drove down to Arizona to go to one of Jeremy's mission friends' weddings. It was a really awesome sealing...it's great how different each sealing is that we go to, I love it! We got to spend a lot of time with both of our relatives there. One of the coolest things we did was go to the capitol building and see all the war memorials there. Jeremy's grandpa served in Vietnam so he has a brick there with his name on it by the purple heart wall. The other really cool thing to see was the anchor and mast from the U.S.S. Arizona. We were able to see the ship when we went to Pearl Harbor a couple years ago, and it was really awesome to see the anchor and mast that were brought back to Arizona. I was really stoked to be able to use grandpa's sweet Nikon to take some pictures there. So all in all it was a nice trip, but it was hard to come back to a snowstorm after a nice weekend in the 80's.
