Well, honestly, I think he's too smart and crazy agile for one of those tent things to work. Also, he's a master crib escapee. We really wanted to put this off as long as possible, but figured we might as well get it over with since he's having sleeping issues all of a sudden anyway. That's right...toddler bed transformation time!

He likes to play on his "big boy bed", but has yet to like sleeping in it. Last night was his first night and I just sat with him for ten minutes until he was out. He made it until 2am when he woke up and wanted to come in our bed. I really don't like co-sleeping. I need my space, and even though we are relatively small people, the queen just doesn't cut it for three of us. As for naps...he won't stay down, and I feel too lazy to go through the "supernanny" keep-putting-him-back-in-bed-no-matter-how-many-times-or-hours-it-takes-until-he-stays-there method. Both yesterday and today I let him fall asleep on the couch and then carried him into his room once he was out. We had trained him into being such a good nap and nighttime sleeper. Hopefully we'll get back there soon. Perhaps it's time to invest in the next volume of Baby Wise.
