I decided we needed some shelving in our lives, so off to Ikea we went. Beckett also loves his chair swing from Auntie Allie that now hangs in his room!
These books have been the object of my desire since I saw them on my first ever trip to Anthropologie (and it was my first trip because I knew I would find stuff in there that I love but that is way too expensive for me, so I have avoided venturing into that store in the past but could not any longer since our dear friends the Nielsens wanted to go inside...run-on much?). They are amazing clothbound hardcovers of many classics that I love. I want them all!...but will most likely buy them slowly one at a time when I have a few extra dollars.
Sooo......this post is about a month late, but oh well. For Beckett's first birthday we threw him a pool party. It was the perfect day...except that Beckett woke up super sick and miserable.
After many downloads, re-installations, and getting old music from the family computer we have almost everything we were missing (minus a few pictures and Jeremy's school work from last semester - but he still has hard copies of everything). I got a new lens and am loving it...thanks Melanie for the advice!
...that's what our computer did this week. We lost everything we had on it. The worst of all were music and pictures that I hadn't yet backed up. Thank goodness for this blog. I've been able to sit and pull off all the pictures I've posted in 2010 that would otherwise be gone, and luckily they are the best of the pictures I had anyway. A second 'thank goodness' for apple and their incredible customer service that replaced our hard drive free of charge and also threw in new plastic casing on the inside, track pad, and keyboard while they were at it. I'll be posting again when we have new pictures because right now all I have is what you've already seen! Until then...
