So much pizza...

I've been meaning to find these two videos and show them to everyone because of the experience I had watching the Grammys this year. In this first video from the Jamie Kennedy Experiment that our family has watched for years, they play a prank on a pianist who auditions for their new piano/rap idea...

Then I was watching the Grammys and when Jay Z came on to join Coldplay's Chris Martin on the piano (even though it actually sounds pretty decent), I died laughing!

30 weeks

We just found out today that this last year of the run around from California schools is finally over! Jeremy got accepted to Cal State San Marcos! We moved back here both feeling like this was where he should finish school, but quickly learned that California schools don't love letting you transfer from other states, and nobody at Cal State would give us straight answers about Jeremy's chances of getting into the school and his program. We have prayed for months now that we would just be able to get him into one of two schools, and getting a "no" from BYU last month made it a lot more stressful as we waited to hear back from Cal State. I cannot tell you how relieved I am that I don't have to move all our belongings (and a new baby) back across the country. I am sad that we will not be close to Arica and Andrew :( , but we will likely end up heading back up there in a few years for Jeremy to do the one year Master's program at the Marriott School. So now I can give a huge sigh of relief, and say hello to more years of this glorious weather!

Planet Earth...

About one weekend every few months Discovery Channel airs a handful of these 11-1 hour each shows. I saw one of them when they were first aired a few years ago and loved it. I'm so glad they show them on tv for free again! Jeremy and I love to dvr them on the HD channel and then watch them on Sundays. I love animals and learning about the living things that we share the earth with! It is definitely something we enjoy as a Sunday activity and would recommend to everyone.
